The fund is the successor to the Federated Stock and Bond Fund, Inc. pursuant to a reorganization that took place as of the close of business September 5, 2008. The fund’s Class K Shares commenced operations on April 7, 2003. For the period prior to the commencement of operations of the Class K Shares, the performance information shown is for the fund’s Class A Shares, adjusted to reflect the expenses of the Class K Shares. See the prospectus for other fees and expenses that apply to a continued investment in the fund. Effective December 31, 2010, the share class designation of K Shares will be changed to R Shares. This share class name change will have no impact on the funds’ operation or investment strategy.
