Federated has played a pioneering role in the financial industry for more than a half-century and continues to develop products and services to meet the rapidly changing needs of investors. Our sales representatives, who are located throughout the United States and internationally, offer a consultative approach to understanding the client’s needs and work to build long term relationships based on trust.

What we look for

Federated seeks both experienced and entry level individuals with strong consultative selling skills, knowledge of the financial industry and a passion for building long- term client relationships.

Internal Sales

Federated provides both an initial, comprehensive 15-week, paid training program for our internal sales associates and regular ongoing training and development opportunities. Working with a dedicated learning specialist, our associates receive world-class sales, industry and product training and guidance for self-study to obtain the required FINRA securities licenses: Series 7 and Series 66.

Meet Justin

Justin joined Federated as an internal sales representative with the aspiration of becoming an external sales representative.  Presented with an opportunity to move into the field, Justin is currently a regional sales consultant managing a territory in the western United States.

I was attracted to Federated by the company’s reputation for training and developing its employees. Meet Taylor

With a marketing degree from Boston College and several years of experience as a marketer, Taylor made the decision to pursue a career in sales and joined Federated as an internal sales associate. Choosing to continue her education while working full-time, she has received both support and encouragement from her management.
