(PITTSBURGH, Pa., 11/11/2011 08:51 AM) — Federated Premier Municipal Income Fund (NYSE: FMN) and Federated Premier Intermediate Municipal Income Fund (NYSE: FPT) have declared their monthly dividends. The funds seek to provide investors with current dividend income that is exempt from regular federal income tax and federal alternative minimum tax (AMT). Effective Dec. 1, 2011, the adviser and its affiliates to FMN and FPT, have agreed to voluntarily waive fees and/or reimburse expenses so that the total annual fund operating expenses paid by each FMN and FPT will not exceed 0.99%. For the fiscal year ended Nov. 30, 2010, FMN and FPT had paid total annual fund operating expenses of 0.85% and 0.89%, respectively, after fee waivers and/or expense reimbursements by the adviser and its affiliates.
While the adviser and its affiliates currently do not anticipate terminating the voluntary waivers and/or expense reimbursements that go into effect on Dec. 1, 2011, no assurance can be given that future total annual operating expenses will be more or less than 0.99%.
